By road, Costa Morena is reached via the SS16 or SS7 and the SS379 link road. Approach roads are signposted "Porto" and "Costa Morena" well before the terminal entrance. There is no direct motorway into Brindisi itself – the nearest A14 connection is further north near Bari, so most drivers arrive via the SS16 coastal road or the SS7 from the interior.

Because Costa Morena sits outside the city centre, it is not a convenient walk-in terminal for foot passengers arriving by train. If you are travelling without a car, plan a short taxi ride from Brindisi's centre or railway station rather than expecting to walk.

Costa Morena's marshalling area is functional rather than spacious, so staff direct vehicles to lanes fairly briskly – arrive within your check-in window rather than hours early, as there is limited space to wait around with a large vehicle.

Given the relatively short crossing times (8–9 hours to Igoumenitsa, less to Corfu), most motorhome travellers book a reclining seat or a shared cabin rather than a dedicated camping-on-board rate, which is not a standard offering on this route. Onward Travel from Brindisi

Brindisi connects to the rest of Puglia and southern Italy via the SS16 coastal road north towards Bari (with A14 access) and south towards Lecce and the Salento peninsula. If you are arriving in Brindisi from Greece, Lecce – often called "the Florence of the South" for its Baroque architecture – is under an hour's drive and makes an excellent first stop.
